Russia's effect to Putin era eurasia energy policy and international economic relations

Eurasia, which most of the states are in interest with due to it's rich energy sources, is very important for Russia which is the part of the Soviet Union to the continuation of its interest. Following a multi-faceted foreign policy with Putin, Russia has increased interest in the immediate vicinity. The dependence between the states for energy demand and energy supply has increased the severity on the nature of Eurasia. In this context Russia with Putin, has developed different policies in order to increase its effectiveness on Eurasia which was under rule in the Soviet Union Era. With the management of Putin, Russia, has used its energy resources as an instrument of foreign policy and have been the key actors in the international system with its political and economic power. At this point Russia has used its ammunition of energy as a pressure on the countries of Soviet. On the other hand, it was struggling in the west geopolitics in order to strengthen its interests and to be the important one in the energy market. The growing importance of energy in this world and the countries dependent for Russia in terms of energy were revealed and the political and economic consequences due to this dependence were discussed. The purpose of this study was to show how Russia uses its energy sources as a power in the international arena as a result of the needs of the countries to energy, and to show the politic and economic gaining?s of Russia. As a result, Russia's energy trump card that will strengthen the economic and political field and gradually strengthen its position among the dominant powers in the international arena. Good use of the advantage of having energy resources in Russia, in economic terms will be stronger and more powerful as a country will be the world's economic system.
