Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, some of the fundamental definitions are emphasized after the history of glass ceramics explained. Effects of substitutional ratio on the thermal, microhardness and microstructural properties in Bi1-xRuxPb0.2Sr2CaCu2O10+d system by taking the substutional ratio x=0,0; 0,025; 0,050 and 0,075 are investigated. The crystallization kinetic studies were examined with differential thermal analysis (DTA) method. Samples prepared with glass ceramic method were sintered at 845 oC. The mechanical properties of the glass ceramic Ru doped Bi1-xRuxPb0.2Sr2CaCu2O10+d bulk materials are investigated using Vickers microhardness test method. Main phases of the BSCCO glass ceramic materials were observed in the X ray data and the values of the lattice parameters were calculated. In order to get information about microstructure of samples different magnification photographs of scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used.
