Abstract (EN)

A century before age of discoveries Castile, endeavoured to recover all the damages of political crises and aimed to globalise. As a most important power in Iberia peninsula, leaving behind a small-scale global crisis of Trastamara house dominance in royalty and with the in a peacefull governance of Enrique III of Castile, Castile dedicated to globalise and establish relations with the new countries or unknown world. In this period, who is called the Suffering (due to bad health) Enrique III of Castile was a strong-willed king and sent to ambassadors to the neighbouring countries and countries to know about, ordered reports of the countries and collect infomations about them. One of the political success of his time was conquering/capturing Canary Islands and the reports of the embassy sent to Tamerlane and his state which were about cultural, historical, ethnological records. It's well known all around the world as Clavijos's Itinerary attributed to his name the most important cultural achievment of Enrique III of Castile and in the historical aspect contains most valuable knowledge about distinguished figure of Turkish history Tamerlane. The most valuable parts of Clavijo's manuscript are a first hand accounts about historical events and geographical testimony, also intellectual level and the positive view of the others. Clavijo's manuscript is a traditional itinerary of Latin literature, a report rendered to a king and finally is a chronicle of historical accounts.
