Abstract (EN)
Systems that convert wind energy into electricity must be electrically controlled to give optimal power output. Although there are various control methods, this is generally called wing angle control. With pitch angle control, the operation of a variable speed wind turbine can be controlled at variable wind speeds. Pitch angle control can be achieved using a variety of control methods. In this study, pitch angle control was achieved by using traditional PID, artificial neural networks (ANN) and Adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). Feedback network was used as the artificial neural network method. In the study, the pitch angle was controlled by a DC servo motor. DC servo motor output gives the pitch angle and adjusts the wind turbine power coefficient. As a result, although the ANFIS controller is close to the results of the system designed with ANN, it gave better results.
