Sa?âdet-Name: Review-text

In this study, the review and reading of the work ?Sa?adet-name? by poet, muhaddith and mufassir Abdurrahman Çelebi from Kütahya whose pseudonym is Firâkî living in the 16th century were carried out. While we gained information about the political and social life of the period from the work ?Sa?adet-name? by Firâkî who was predominantly a poet, we also found some religious statements in the work. The work that discusses sufistic topics also contains many verse forms. The primary topics of the work are God belief, love of prophet in addition to attributing to the leading figures of the period. It also deals with the military developments in Ottoman geography. We included the life, literary personality and works of Firâkî in the First Part; the structural examination of the poems by Firâkî in the Second Part; the content examination of the poems in ?Sa?adet-name? in the Third Part; the evaluation of the work in Conclusion Part; the translation of ?Sa?adet-name? in the Text Part and the names of the sources used during the study in the Bibliography Part.Key Words: Old Turkish Literature, Firâkî, Kütahya, Poetic History, Mesnevi and Sa?âdet-nâme
