Abstract (EN)

Sadık Yalsızuçanlar is an author who has his name rather frequently mentioned in the areas of story, novel, essay, fable, discourse and compilation in Turkish literature since 1980s. He conveys Sufi tradition dramatically with a postmodern discourse by taking advantage of surrealist and psychoanalytic techniques. Sadik Yalsızuçanlar writes novels that treat a subject within the lives of wise men reaching to perfect human being by dissolving his existential anxieties and sense of self in the eternal existence of the divine. The first section of this thesis titled "An Evaluation on the Novels and Novel Writing of Sadık Yalsızuçanlar" includes the life, sense of art and works of Sadık Yalsızuçanlar. In the second section, novels are examined in chronological order. The third section also evaluates the novel writing of the author with reference to his novels and the sources influencing him.
