Sadıki's Divan (Analysis-text)

Sâdıkî is a Turkish poet known for his religious-mystical style of sermons in the 18th century. His only known work is his Divan. In this Divan, most of the poems are in the form of ghazals and have a religious-mystical theme. In this thesis, the poet's Divan kept in the Mehmet Fatih Köksal Private Library as wells as his poems found in the poetry collections in various libraries were transcribed and examined in terms of form and content. As a result Sadıki's poems are described to the readers collectively by revealing information about his personality and his literary works.
