A study on Safranbolu legends and memorats

Safranbolu is an important region with is history and cultural heritage. This work is a study of legends and memorats of Safranbolu region. Our study includes Safranbolu legends and the classification of Safranbolu legends. Our study consists of Safranbolu legends and classification. Safranbolu legends are evaluated in term of structure function and motif. Memoratums compiled from Safranbolu field are evaluted and classified in terms of function structure and subject. Our study has not only referred to Safranbolu legends and memoratums but also it has addressed to the controversial isssue of folk literatüre. Our study has dealt with the concepts of legend and memorat through taking legend and memorat as two different species.
