Abstract (EN)
Today, organizations struggle with an increasingly complex economic system. The importance of human resources is increasing day by day in order to provide a competitive advantage in such an environment. Therefore, positive psychology gives importance to individual development in improving productivity and performance. This study was planned with the assumption that the self-assessment of individuals with high positive psychological capital perception is positive and life satisfaction is high. In this context, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between psychological capital, psychological satisfaction, self-assessment and the mediating role of self-assessment has in the effect of psychological capital on life satisfaction. The study was conducted in a private health institution. Two hundred ninety people work in this health institution and 180 of participated in the study. In addition to descriptive statistical methods, correlation analysis, regression analysis, Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H Test were used for data analysis. Data were analyzed at 95% confidence interval (p=0.05). According to the findings obtained from the study, there is a strong and statistically significant relationship between the variables. Psychological capital statistically significant and positively affects personal assessment and life satisfaction. When evaluated together, psychological capital and self-evaluation affect life satisfaction positively. Self-evaluation is a positive contribution to the effect of psychological capital on life satisfaction when used as a mediator. Although there was no difference in psychological capital, self-assessment and life satisfaction according to gender, age educational status and task unit; a significant difference was found in life satisfaction in terms of marital status and working time. As a result, psychological capital affects self-assessment and life satisfaction, so the psychological stiuation of the people's is important in terms of improving the quality of life and self-assessment. Providing support and training of employees in these areas are advised.
