Özet (EN)
This study aims decreasing in firing temperature of the sanitaryware manufacturing without causing a negativeness in their physical and technical properties. Talc and spodumene were added with (wt. %), % 3, % 5, % 7 and 9 ratios to the standard sanitaryware masse recipe as extra. The suspensions added talc and spodumene were shaped by slip casting and then dried in oven. The shaped samples were sintered at 1100 ºC, 1150 ºC and 1200 ºC. The effects of the additives were investigated by applying several tests, such as shrinkage percents, water absorption percents, deformation and bending strengths. The results were compared with the standard sanitaryware material. Keywords: Firing, Sanitaryware, Spodumene, Talc.
