Health service export: A qualitative research on private hospitals in Adana

The expansion of exports in the last 10 years, health care in the world and Turkey, is seen as one of the activities that perform rapid growth. Healthcare exports are an action taken to meet the treatment needs of patients. The purpose of healthcare exports is to provide treatment methods to ensure patients' comfort. Healthcare delivery of developed countries in the world is very costly. The health needs and health expenses of the population living and aging in these developed countries are gradually increasing. Travel and tourists coming to Turkey joining the tour in recent years to benefit from the possibilities offered by the health services with the aim of exporting to come to Turkey, has brought a different dimension to the export of health services. In this study, the strengths and potential of Adana province in the field of healthcare exports are discussed. In this research, the efficiency of attractive health tourism activities was investigated by talking about the quality of health service, low price policy, the effect of geographical location, technological infrastructure and the presence of expert staff in Adana province through interviews and qualitative data. Thus, as a result of the analysis of interviews conducted with expert panelists in the area, geographic location element, branding elements, cost factors, technological infrastructure factors, foreign language factors, qualified staff factors, long standby time, socio-cultural factors, transport factors, pre-legislative factors It has been seen that it has come to the plan.
