Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to measure the level of satisfaction of patients who benefit from outpatient services in Sakarya Training and Research Hospital and to determine how effective the quality of perceived health services is in the satisfaction of patients. Descriptive research model was used in the research. In this study, service quality scale which were developed by Babakus and Mangold (1992) and adapted to Turkish by Sevimli (2006), patient satisfaction scale developed by Yurtsever (2013) and personal information form were used. According to the findings of the study, it was seen that the service quality perception levels of the participants were good. There was no significant relationship between gender and marital status and service quality perception levels of the participants. Similarly, no significant relationship was found between the ages of participants and their income status and the level of perception of service quality. However, a significant relationship was found between the educational level of the participants and their perception of service quality. On the other hand, there was a significant and positive relationship between service quality and patient satisfaction. In conclusion, it is possible to say that the perception of service quality has a significant effect on patient satisfaction level which is dependent variable. As a result, it is possible to say that patient satisfaction will increase as a result of giving importance to service quality in health institutions.
