Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out descriptively to determine the attitudes and behaviors of the students in Nurettin Yılmaz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School about hygiene. The research population consisted of 215 students who attended Nurettin Yılmaz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School nursing assistant, midwife assistance and health care technician departments in the first period of 2017-2018 Academic Year. Without conducting election sample in research attemted to reach the whole of universe. A total of 212 students who met the research criteria were reached from the 215 students who formed the universe. Data were obtained by using descriptive attribute information form and Hygiene Attitude Scale. The 72.6 percent of students whose average age is 16.21 ± 1.09 are girls. The hygienic behavior scale of the students was found to be significantly different according to 38 threshold points. According to hygiene attitude scale, the rate of negative hygiene behaviors of students is widespread. According to the these results, ıt is necessary to support the application of the teachings to educate students as professional in the field of health.
