Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the relationships between turnover intention, organizational politics perception, and workplace behaviors among healthcare professionals. The primary objective is to determine whether workplace behaviors play a mediating role in the relationship between organizational politics perception and turnover intention. Data were collected via questionnaires from 340 healthcare workers employed at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Research and Application Hospital. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied using SPSS and AMOS software for data analysis. The findings indicate that organizational politics perception does not have a direct effect on turnover intention but has an indirect effect through workplace behaviors. Workplace behaviors serve as a significant mediator in the impact of organizational politics perception on employees' turnover intention. Additionally, demographic factors such as education level, age, professional experience, and tenure at the institution were found to have significant effects on turnover intention. These results suggest that healthcare institutions should improve workplace conditions and establish fair and transparent organizational policies to reduce employees' turnover intentions. Adopting management approaches that consider the needs and expectations of employees will enhance both employee satisfaction and the quality of healthcare services.
