Abstract (EN)

Problems Encountered by Family Physicians As Part of The Health Transformation Project and Job Satisfaction ; Bursa Field Study Nowadays, healthcare system is developing day by day and system changes are becoming inevitable with the revisions. In order to pursue the healthcare systems of the developed countries, it is obvious that the system exists with its shortcomings and negativities in our country needs to be changed. However, it is also obvious that the practice and the system changes will create an uncertainty at the first stages along with negative cases such as discussions, arguments, problems regarding everything that would come to mind. In this sense, the family practice system as a part of the Health Transformation Project shows itself with new implementations and various disagreements that are exclusive to our country. One of the people that would be affected most by this are the family physicians. In this respect, it is intended to examine especially the family practice system and to interpret the states of satisfaction and content of family physicians on the basis of this system in the study. In the first chapter of the study, there is information regarding the concept of job satisfaction, and literature reviews. Conceptional and explanatory information has been compiled from the literature such as elements that affect job satisfaction, nature of job dissatisfaction, job satisfaction theories. In the second chapter, worldwide equivalent of the concept of family practice, and the implementation of family practice between various countries in the world have been discussed. In the third chapter, health policies in Turkey and the following family practice have been addressed. The problems and concerns of the family physicians in Turkey have been compiled in this chapter. In addition, patient satisfaction levels in the face of family practice have been addressed within the frame of studies conducted. In the fourth and last chapter, results of the survey study have been addressed with family physicians who provide service in Bursa ASMs. Questions regarding the survey study is aimed at determining the views on family practice. Job satisfaction data is also included. At the end of the study, it is determined that generally, there is dissatisfaction and problems regarding the practice among the family physicians who work in Bursa. It is understood that family practice and job contentment levels also affect the occupational satisfaction. It is concluded that there problems with the system itself, rather than the occupations of the physicians or the problems with the patients
