A review on the stories of Şahabeddin Süleyman's

Şahabeddin Süleyman (1885-1919), who was involved in the formation of Fecr-i Âti, lived in Izmir and Istanbul. During a trip with his wife, İhsan Raif, he became ill with Spanish flu and died. He was laid to rest in the Swiss village of Davos. Throughout his 34-year career, he has created works in the genres of literature, prose poetry, fantasy, theater, articles, criticism, translation, and literary history. In this study, we identified periodicals in which Şahabeddin Süleyman published his works and compiled a comprehensive bibliography. We clarified the subjects of genres other than the author's stories by using the analysis method in the works index. We translated the stories identified in old letters into modern Turkish using this bibliography. We aimed to determine their place in Turkish storytelling history by analyzing the transmitted stories in terms of structure and theme. We explained the content of the stories in the analysis. In the first part of our research, we examined his life, art, and writing experience in periodicals. We considered the author's storytelling as a sub-title of his art. Şahabeddin Bey's works were divided into two categories and presented as books and writing experiences in magazines and newspapers. We gave the chronological order and revealed the years in which the author was active in the world of literature after separating the articles in periodicals according to their genres. We created a composition based on the writer's storytelling and the content of the stories. The stories are translated from Ottoman Turkish to Modern Turkish and analyzed in the second part of our study. In our research, we identified forty-four Şahabeddin Süleyman stories. By separating these identified stories according to their subjects, we have drawn up the author's Story World.
