A study on Şahabeddin Uzunkaya's life, art and works

Hasan Sahabeddin Uzunkaya, (10th July 1919 Giresun – 5th Semptember 2020 Istanbul) finished primary and secondary school at Giresun and high school at Haydarpasa High School. Uzunkaya, that quited Istanbul University faculty of law, passed rest of his life at press world. Besides his journalist side, his other works such as novels, stories and poems also carries the effect of his journalizm. At 1936, he started his literature life at periodical publication with his first poems and stories. He has achieved to be an important figüre of the history of Giresun publication life with his magazines and newspapers. He has mentioned about Seyit Vakkas, who is one of the spiritual architectures of Giresun, inside the historical novel fiction with the novel named as Seyit Vakkas. At the study the life, art and works of Sahabeddin Uzunkaya has been discoursed. The study has consisted of five parts and "His family, Journalism and Writing" has been urged upon at the first part. Also his novelism at the second part, his storytelling at he third part and his poesy at the fourth part have been discoursed from different point of views. At the last part of the thesis the all of the articles, that have come down to periodical publications, have been classified according to their type and subject. So that, it has been purposed to reveal his literal and cultural personality with reference to his accumulation of writings at the study.
