The history of Bandırmaspor Club, which is the name of the professional spirit created by the İdmanyurdu Youth and Marmara Youth sports clubs, which are two important rivals in the city of Bandırma, where amateur football competition is at the highest level, came together in July 1965, match data in local journalist Saim Borazan's private archive covering the 1965-1983 seasons. , administrative activities and other information, data in the relevant periods were tried to be revealed by verifying the information by accessing the digital archives of some newspapers in the national press and the physical archives of some newspapers in the local media of Bandırma. With the establishment process, Bandırmaspor club gained the distinction of being the "First district team" to participate in the Turkish Second National League and the "First district team" to participate in professional leagues before the province. When we look at the league, cup and preparation matches in the 18 seasons (1965-1983) examined since the establishment process, Bandırmaspor, which succeeded in playing in the Semi-Finals and Quarter-Finals in the Turkish Cup, experienced championship success and relegation failure in the league matches, had the top scorer from its team, and also had the A National Championship. and sent players to the Junior National teams.
