Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, area of the sample trees, chip drying temperature and press condition variations of some technological properties of particleboard produced from Alder (Alnus glutinosa subsp.barbata) was investigated. Therefore, the chips produced from wood taken KTÜ campus and Çamoba. Drying tempreture of 120, 150 and 170°C, press tempreture of 150 and 200°C, press time of 5 and 7 munites was applied, respectively. Samples were subjected to moisture content (TS EN 322), density (TS EN 323/1), water absorption and thickness swelling (ASTM D1037, TS EN 317), modulus of rupture and modulus of elasticity (TS EN 310), internal bond strength (TS EN 319) and screw wıthdrawal resıstance (TS EN 320) tests. . While increase of the altitude sample area density was decreased, Increasing of pres temperature and press time was increased. With increase of the, chip drying temperature, pres temperature and time has a possitive effect on the absorption and thickness swelling. With increase of press temperature and time plates and decreasing of altitude sample are have a possitive effect on the modulus of rupture, modulus of elasticity and internal bond strength . The increase of altitude sample area weaken effect on modulus of rupture and internal bond strength and increasing of press time. Increased press time strengthen effect on wıthdrawal resıstance. It is suggested that the continuation of work by changing production conditions.
