Abstract (EN)

The biographies of the artist members of the Şakir Pasha Family, which brought many artists to Turkish art, were analyzed. In addition to this, the efforts to introduce the newly accepted art concepts to Turkish society, to be accepted by the society and to successfully represent the Turkish art and artist abroad cannot be denied. It was started from Şakir Pasha, who had made important military duties for the Ottoman Empire during his life while studying his family members. Pasha wrote books and opened an exhibition abroad. He tried to keep many branches of art (music, painting, literature, etc.) alive in daily life and raised his children and grandchildren in such an environment. Then chronologically, Shakir Pasha, the son of author, illustrator, guidance and blue tour Cevat Sakir Kabaagacli saving to Turkey, daughter of painter Fahrelnnis Zeid, another daughter, engraver Aliye Berger, grandson ceramic artist Füreya Koral, Fahrelnisa children painter Nejat Revolution and Şirin Devrim were discussed with their art and social environment.
