Abstract (EN)

In the field of contemporary art education, the integration of digital visual culture has brought both opportunities and challenges, especially in terms of pedagogical reflections. Visual pedagogy, which deals with the strategies and methods used in the teaching and learning of visual media tools, has evolved into an effective and efficient transformation process due to the widespread use of digital technologies. This change requires a critical examination of how art educators think about their practices in educational settings, how they integrate their approaches, and how they navigate the complexities of the rapidly evolving digital environment. With the integration of digital tools and elements of digital culture into educational processes, the development of technological skills in the arts education environment can be supported; indirect experiences established through digital texts and virtual content can enable the emergence of activities in parallel with global practices. The limited number of studies on current developments in educator training in the field of art education shows that research-based knowledge production in this field is not sufficiently developed. It is vital to explore how technology affects pedagogical practices and shapes the professional development of educators.
