Abstract (EN)

Among numerous disciplines to associate, "fashion and music" associations constitute theessential feature of this study, forming the basis of subject. In this context, how fashion was transferred on new designs while feeding on music with practice of joint creation; how it was transformed in terms of style, content, and materials were handled by supporting with conceptual information. At the same time how music transfers real and abstract concepts towards emotions shaped with spiritual connection music forms on persons are transferred on other branches of art and cloth designs through various materials was explained with examples. Such efforts that were products of hybridization of music and clothes design were further specialized to be presented though applications that transformed the 9 th Symphony and L. V. Beethoven to wearable art. In this context, this study has five main sections. In the first section, concepts that have identical or similar perceptions with interdisciplinary understanding were defined in order to prevent ambiguities; interdisciplinary concepts mentioned in art were briefly mentioned. In the second section of the study music's relationship with other arts in the context of interdisciplinarity was examined. Following such information, relationship between music and fashion design as the main subject of this study was explained accompanied by definite categories and examples. At this point, rather than the first subculture groups that come to mind regarding interaction of music and fashion design (explained with a brief example), investigations at the point of bringing objects into existence with artistic creation were encountered. In the following section, five surface and costume designs inspired from L. V. Beethoven and the 9 th Symphony and created in the hope that they would give rise to different ideas with new materials together with forms and artworks that were created with interartistic understanding and inspire other artists lead to the conclusion section of the study.
