Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine whether conflict, which is frequently encountered in organizational life, has an impact on workplace bullying. In addition, it has been examined whether conflict management styles have a regulatory role in the aforementioned relation. The hypotheses developed within the scope of the study were tested with data collected from the sampling of Çankırı Police Department employees. The data of the study were obtained by survey. The conflicts in organizations were discussed in two dimensions: the task and the relation conflict. Regression analysis was performed to test the direct impacts of the variables included in the model. In addition, process analysis was performed to measure the impact of conflict management styles on the relation between conflict and workplace bullying. As a result of the conducted analyses, it was determined that the task conflict and the relation conflict had a significant and direct impact on the behaviour of exposure to workplace bullying. Also, the style of "avoidance" from conflict management styles was determined to have a regulatory role in the relation between conflict and workplace bullying. However, no regulatory effects of "problem solving", "compromising", "reconciliation" and "dominating" styles were encountered on the aforementioned relation.
