The transformation of a body into an artistic structure

The social and emotional traces created in my memory by the conflicts formed on the basis of the social structure played a role in the emergence of the concept of the body, which constitutes the scope of the thesis. In line with the effects of the fragilities created by the experiences on the body, studies have been made on the relationship between art and the body, written and visual documents have been examined and researched in a qualified way. After these all struggles, my works has taken its final form in the context of visual arts. In the first part of the thesis, body perception, which has been shaped by society throughout history, has been examined. Art History has undergone changes by being very moving (active) with the new approaches created, and it has made artistic expressions more resonant. This situation has opened new ways of producing art that have just started to develop and become widespread. It has shaped itself in life and has become even more meaningful with different artistic practices at different times. In this thesis, art and the development process of the artist are discussed. The visuals were analyzed by giving examples on the artists, and the relations between the artist and the body were examined. By including the researcher's own studies in these studies, the mental distress of the body and the violence of daily life were recorded with pictures and presented in a concrete way.
