Representation of everday life in art and visual analysis on today's individual

The aim of this paper is to research how daily life reflects on art and for said research to guide personal studies. In this context, general definitions regarding daily life were made. Societal events, economic factors, and the effects of authority on the individual which are all thought to be the defining factors of daily life were approached from a sociological and psychological perspective. To predicate the passive and tired human figures that are seen in personal implementations on a foundation, the effects of governments on individuals and systems were included. In addition, the origins of art that visualize daily life, artists, and artworks were emphasized. Examples were chosen by dwelling on a particular meaning of the word "daily": routine practices done by people to further improve their existence. Accordingly, art that presents people during their time in the house, eating, drinking, working, etc, were chosen in particular. Especially the artists studied from the 20th century to the present and the richness of their work has also created a basis for personal studies. Thus the study has allowed for contextual thinking alongside stylistically regarding the research done during the study. As a result of the effects of governments and daily events on personal implementations, passive, tired, and motionless figures were portrayed. It was concluded that daily life was a subject that is frequently embraced, that the living conditions of each period, its societal events, and economic factors had ransformed the perception of daily life, and that this circumstance was becoming more visible in artists' works. It was observed that while daily life was reflected as a working space in Archaic Ages, it was represented with indoors spaces until the 18th century, while daily life was conveyed with more crowded spaces outside of the house in the 19th century, in the 20th century it was pictured with daily objects used in daily life. In works after the 2000s, in addition to general topics such as technology, architecture, and popular culture, it was understood that emotional states such as loneliness, tiredness, and the indifference of the individual were also included. The literature review method was used in the research. The forms of representation of daily life from the Archaic Ages to the present have been handled with examples of works of art. Printed and electronic resources were used. Artist websites, museum, and gallery websites were examined.
