Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY In a shaker working in stirring speed and constant temperature, the biosorptions of Cr and Pb 2+ ions with cone biomass oîPinus sylvestris were researched. The effects of initial pH, initial metal ion concentration, biomass concentration and stirring speed on biosoprtion efficiency were examined and the convenience of the results for biosorption experiments to the adsorption isotherms of Freundlich and Langmuir was examined. The highest removal efficiencies realized for Cr 6f ions and Pb + ions were found in pH: 1 and pH: 4, respectively. The most suitable biosorption circumstances were determined as pH=l for Cr6+ ions and T=25°C, stirring speed=150 rpm, Co=150 mg/L, m=l g/L,as pH=4 for Pb 2+ ions and T=25°C, stirring speed=150 rpm, Co=50 mg/L, m=4 g/L. An increase in Metal / Biomass ratio caused a decrease in biosorption efficiency. In biosorption of Cr 6+ and Pb 2+ ions on to cone biomass of Pinus sylvestris (PSB), conducted at the most convenient conditions, it has been found that Freundlich isotherm is more convenient than Langmuir isotherm.
