Özet (EN)
The conditional structure, which means the occurrence of an action depends on another action, is constructed in Arabic using specific particles. These particles come at the beginning of two independent sentences, connecting them and establishing a cause-and-effect relationship between them. This structure, consisting of three main elements, is referred to in Arabic grammar as a "conditional sentence" or "conditional construction." This construction indicates that the conditional particle, along with the conditional and response clauses, is subject to certain syntactic rules. Throughout the history of Arabic linguistics, numerous studies have been conducted on particles, emphasizing their importance. Our research focuses on the functions, meanings, and uses of the particles لو (lav), لولا (lavlā), and لوما (lavma) in the Quran. It has been highlighted that a lack of understanding of these particles' functions and meanings could lead to misinterpretations of Quranic verses, Hadiths, and poetry. Therefore, knowing the specific uses of such particles is crucial. By referring to grammar, principles, and rhetoric books, the functions and meanings of the particles لو (lav), لولا (lavlā), and لوما (lavma) have been examined. Examples from Arabic literature, the Quran, and Hadiths have been provided to enhance understanding and contribute to studies in this field. Our study consists of an introduction, two main chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction discusses the research topic, its purpose, significance, and methodologies. The first chapter examines conditional particles, conditional sentences, and their elements in Arabic. The second chapter focuses on the uses of the non-jussive conditional particles لو (lav), لولا (lavlā), and لوما (lavma) in Arabic and the Quran. The conclusion summarizes the final findings of our research. Keywords: Arabic Language, Conditional Prepositions, Lev, Levlâ, Levmâ.
