Özet (EN)
Nowadays, the use of renewable energy resources that are environmentally friendly has started to gain importance due to the decrease of fossil energy sources and the negative effects of these resources on the environment. Recently, hydrogen energy in renewable energy sources comes to the fore and becomes widespread. Hydrogen energy studies are carried out mostly on fuel cells. Particularly in the fuel cell, studies are carried out on PEM fuel cells which can operate at high temperatures and at low temperatures. In this study, the temperature values of the fuels used in the Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) fuel cell were determined and the optimum temperature ranges were obtained for these fuels. Pure hydrogen and oxygen were used in the anode and cathode parts. In this study, humidity 40%, hydrogen amount 0.3 ml / min, oxygen content was taken as 0.5ml / min. In the system, the line temperature values of 40°C - 45°C - 50°C - 55°C - 60°C - 65°C - 70°C - 75°C - 80°C were tested. In the experiments, it was found that the volt value was 0,442V at 40 ° C and the current value was 1,81A and the power value obtained at the system was 0,804W. In the experiment, the power value was found to be 1.025W at 75°C, the current value was 1.8A and the volts value was taken as 0.535V. The lowest W value was calculated as 0.804W at 40°C and the highest W value as 1.025W at 75°C. Factors affecting fuel cell performance have been experimentally examined and presented with tables and graphs and the reasons for these effects are discussed.
