Abstract (EN)
Cinnamic Acid is a phenolic acid derivative commonly found in Cinnamomi cortex (Cinnamon) plant, and its name is derived from cinnamon. Antimicrobial, Anti-Tumoral, Anti-Carcinogenic and Antifungal properties and vasodilator effect have been detected. This study was performed separately in 7 different groups, applied namely as control, atropine, phentolamine, propranolol, nifedipine, tetraethyl ammonium and atropine+ phentolamine+propranolol for the trachea. In the study, the contraction-relaxation responses to cinnamic acid of the relevant tissues were examined after administration of different antagonists or channel blockers to KCl or carbachol pre-contracted trachea tissues. Cinnamic acid showed contraction and relaxation responses with dosage in trachea. İt has been observed both fist protocol and second protocol with atropine studys. Different results were obtained in the first and second protocol studies with atropine and atropine did not cause significant difference in the presence of KCl, but caused significant contractions in the presence of carbachol. In studies performed with propranolol, both KCl and carbachol showed no significant change in contraction and relaxation responses compared to control. İn the studys with niphedipine, coused contraction in the precence both KCl and carbacol. İn the studys with Tetraethyl Ammonium, did not observed that contraction and relaxation in the precence KCl, coused contractions in the precence carbacol in the study with phentolamine, observed relaxation in the precence KCl, coused contractions in the precence carbacol. Mixture of in group study of atropine, phentolamine and propranolol, did not change in the precence KCl, coused contractions in the precence carbacol compored of control studys. In conclusion, it is thought that cinnamic acid applied on rat trachea smooth muscles, is also influenced by different receptors or pathways other than receptor antagonists and channel blockers preferred by us.
