Holiness Prophet and Ahl al-Bayt on Sıdkî Baba Divan

Some certain values such as Holiness Prophet, Ahl Al-Beyt, Twelve Imams, Cem (gathering), Dedelik (Gaffer) society, Ocak system, Musahiplik (companionship) constitute the basis of Alevi-Bektashi belief. Written and verbal sources have a very fundamental place in terms of transferring these values to next generations. Bards who had an education or improved himself during the time period, have important roles in terms of telling the Alevi-Bektashi belief. The main values of the process have been transferred from hearth to hearth with gaining meaning on the verses of bards. Sıdkî Baba, one of Alevi-Bektashi poets, covered basic values of Alevi-Bektashi belief in his poems that he wrote with the profound of his madrasah education he got. Some feelings and considerations that loves Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt, considering following them as the need of his belief has formed the theme of Sıdkî Baba's poems. In his poems Sıdki Baba dealed Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt as merciful, helper of the ones in trouble, defender of true religion. He asked for help from Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt in order to get rid of sins. He consideree them as occasion of the way going to salvation. Sıdkî Baba told that his dearness to Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt saves him from all troubles and obeying them is his most important target. He showed dependence to ones following Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt. He disseminated ideas and perspectives of hakhams and mahatmas who he consider as leader in Anatolian geography. He criticised ones who does not love or obey Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt in his verses. He especially damned Yezit and his ancestors because of the persecution done to Holiness Huseyin. When we analyze Sıdkî Baba divan, it is absolutely seen that Holiness Prophet and Alh Al-bayt have widely given place. Key Words: Alevism-Bektashism, Sıdkî Baba Divan, Holiness Prophet, Alh Al-bayt.
