Abstract (EN)

The global rising power requirement and the pollution took the attention of scientists, industry and governments towards the new power resources which are clean and renewable. Popular renewable energy resources like wind and solar, are used gradiently increasing day by day. The major drawback of using those sources is the cost. Decreasing cost can be achieved by increasing the mass production amount and enhancing the efficiency of those systems. Efficiency improvement can be achieved by harvesting maximum power from the system with a minimal cost. Exponentially increasing energy demands caused by growing populations and industries leads to more electricity production and pollution caused by carbons of the non-renewable energy sources. In this study, a PV grid connected microinverter which is designed for low power and high efficiency applications is used. This microinverter uses a Super Lift Luo DC-DC Converter for DC voltage increment and power balancing. In this thesis inverter topologies and converter topologies are seperately inspected and our system is simulated. A new approach is aimed using the Super Lift Luo Converter.
