Examination of the effect tilt angle on the efficiency of energy and exergy under afyonkarahisar regional conditions

In this research, tilt angle, energy and exergy analyzes of the monocrystalline solar energy system established in the climatic conditions of Afyonkarahisar province in Turkey were made. First of all, solar radiation intensity estimation was carried out with Artificial Neural Networks in order to ensure that solar energy systems can be used more efficiently today and in the future. In this application, a prediction simulation is created and verified by comparing the output data with the actual data. Afterwards, researches were made on the panel tilt angle, which is the most efficient production for the region in question. As a result of these researches, the most suitable angle was determined between the angles ranging from 32° to 50°. After determining the most suitable angle for the solar energy system, energy and exergy analyzes of the system were made for January, February and March. Among these months, the month with the highest energy efficiency was determined as February with %9. As a result of the exergy analysis, the month with the highest exergy efficiency was determined as February with %15. As a result of the analysis, the positive effect of the increase in ambient temperature on the exergy efficiency was observed. Measurements, empirical relations and formulas were calculated experimentally for Afyonkarahisar province.
