Abstract (EN)

Adress-based air quality assessment have a very important place in air pollution studies. Since pollution measurements can be carried out at limited number of points, various techniques like interplation, LUR (Land Use Regression) modelling metods are used to determine the pollution levels at other regions. Recently studies have shown that LUR modelling very preferable and it can produce more accurte results. NO2 data used in this study taken from other projects (No.1306F272 Anadolu University Scientific Research Project and No.112Y305 TÜBİTAK project). These data were determined at 106 point within the province of Kütahya. Two-week sampling has been carried out twice during the summer and winter in 2014. Additionally 3 govermental station data were added to the these data set fort his working. For model development, the independent variables to explain the dependent variable, NO2, at each point was determined to be; distance to the closest road, population density, distance to power plants, distance to other imprtant point sources, elevation, etc. As is the aim in LUR modelling method, the number of independent varibles were reduced according to their effects and the air quality estimation has been done by using the minimum possible number of variables. The analysis results have shown that the use of the elevation, the distance to the closest state highway and steam power plants, the total main road length within a 500 meter buffer, and total population within a 200 meter buffer can be used for a successful. According to result of the model established with annual average NO2 concentrations, the relationship of model NO2 concentrations with determined independent variables by 72%.
