History of SEKA Aksu Paper Factory (1970-2003)

The aim of this research, that people use it as a communication tool and producing the paper newspaper that Turkey needs SEKA Paper Factory of Giresun Aksu, social, cultural and economic life of the contributions is to demonstrate with documents. Information about the operation of the factory's sections was completed by interviewing the people working in the factory. Aksu Paper Factory was opened in 1970 in order to increase the economic and social care of Giresun to the level of other developed cities. The factory has fallen into one of two factories in position to be decided by the privatization of SOEs after 1986 and does not meet the needs of the impact of implemented policies that meet the needs of Turkey's position newsprint. The factory, which was included in the scope of privatization in 1997, was privatized in 2003.
