Abstract (EN)

Inthisstudy, it wasaimedtodeterminetheeffects of differentorganicfertilizersources as an alternativetochemicalfertilizers on yieldandyieldcomponentsandsometechnologicalandantioxidanttraits of sweetcorn in Kahramanmaraş conditions. Forthispurpose, Merit F1 varietysweetcornwasused as a material. Infertilizersources, in additiontozero (control) fertilizerapplication, minimum NPK dosesare 10 kg pure N, 10 kg P2O5and 10 kg K2O fertilizer as a mineral fertilizersourcewith 15.15.15 compoundcommercialfertilizersandorganicfertilizers, poultrymanure, farmmanure, fermentedfertilizer, vermikompostandleonarditewereused. Theexperimentwasconducted in threereplications in theland of theEasternMediterraneanTransitionZoneAgriculturalResearchInstitute in Kahramanmaraş. At theend of thestudy, it wasdeterminedthattherewerestatisticallysignificantdifferences in differentfertilizersources in terms of agriculturalcharacteristics, in terms of plantheight, number of cobs, coblength, cobdiameterandearyield. Accordingly, theplantheight of vermicompost is higher (216.67 cm) thanotherapplications; Itwasdeterminedthatfarmmanuregavehigherefficiency (71.63%) comparedtootherapplications in terms of earyield. Itshowedstatisticallysignificantdifferences in terms of physiologicallossonly on dayone; Accordingly, thehighestlosswasdetermined in fermentedmanure (21.61%). Interms of technologicalproperties, reducingsugar, total sugar, thousandgrainweightmoistureandcrude protein showedstatisticallysignificantdifferences in differentfertilizersources. Accordingly, reducingsugarcomparedtootherfertilizersources (7.12%) in poultrymanure; in total sugar (10.61%) controlapplication; thousandgrainweight (53.46 g) in poultrymanure; moisture (9.73%) in mineral fertilizer; crude protein (12.31%) wasfoundhigh in leonarditefertilizer. Whileyellow pigment, total flavonoid, DPPH TEAC, DPPH inhibition, DPPH AAE and FRAP FeSO4showstatisticallysignificantdifferences in antioxidanttraits in differentfertilizersources; total phenolicand total antioxidantcapacitydid not differsignificantly in differentfertilizersources. Whileyellow pigment, total phenolic, DPPH TEAC, DPPH inhibitionand DPPH AAE werefoundhigh in leonarditefertilizer in differentfertilizersources, FRAP FeSO4 wasfoundhigh in farmfertilizer. Withintheframework of theseresults, theuse of differentorganicfertilizersources as an alternativetochemicalfertilizers in sweetcorn has significanteffects on someagricultural, technologicalandantioxidanttraits, in determiningtheagricultural, technologicalandantioxidantproperties of corn in suchstudies; Itwould be morebeneficialtoconsiderorganicfertilizersourcesandcornvarieties.
