Abstract (EN)

Today the scientific research in important research centers is going on for replacing the lead based piezoelectrics with the lead free, human and ecologically friendly ceramics. These studies show that crystallographically oriented (textured) niobates (KNN etc.) and titanates (SrTiO3, BaTiO3, Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 etc.) are candidates for replacing the lead based ceramics. Templated grain growth-TGG method is used for texturing. In this method anisometric powders (templates) are crucial components for texturing ceramics. Plate like NaNbO3 and SrTiO3 powders are mostly used for producing textured, lead free and high performance niobate and titanate based piezoelectric ceramics. In this study formation mechanisms of plate like NaNbO3 and SrTiO3 powders were determined with the bases of thermodynamic and kinetic studies for improving the scientific studies in literature. Also novel methods were proved for synthesis of plate like NaNbO3 and SrTiO3 powders. These scientific studies provide to scale up processes of these templates for industrial productions with desired quality.
