A study on Selahatti̇n Batu's life, art and poetries

Selahattin Batu, had composed literary works like poetry, travel writing, essay and tragedy in the Republican period of Turkish Literature. This dissertation presents a study of the work of author Selahattin Batu within the context of specially his poetries. His poetries are reviewed and classified according to subjects and also components and evaluated about linguistic performance and literary. In this study, Selahattin Batu's poetries and essays which are published in Varlık, Hisar, Türk Dili, Çağrı, İstanbul, Ulus are specified as tag. By this way, his knowledge which is just published on periodical journal is also reveal. Some performance that he composed but could not published on during his life, also reached by our detailed research. We also made evaluations, besides Selahattin Batu's literary works also concerning periodical editions and reviews about him. Our purpose, first of all was to present Selahattin Batu as being an author of essay, traveller and author of poetic drama. Seperately, it was also aimed to prove that Selahattin Batu's who is professor of zoetechnic at the same time importance in Turkish Literature.
