Abstract (EN)
Selami Münir Yurdatap, who has produced hundreds of Works in many genres has about seventeen detective novels that he translated in 1928. These novels are genres that contain crime, guilty and enigma elements listed as the dominant elements in the evaluation of a work as a detective genre and evaluated in this category. The development of the detective genre has been shaped over the years on different skeletons with the same framework. Yurdatap's Works in the aforementioned genre are examined in this context, after the development of the genre will be examined. The fiction of the novels and the main factors in the emergence of the events are examined in terms of the diversty of the crime elements. After the summaries of the novels are presented and information about the events is obtained, the detective elements in the novels will be examined. After giving general information about the genre mentioned in our study, detective novels translated by Yurdatap, most of which describe the adventures between Sherlock Holmes and Arsen Lüpen, will and at the end of the study, the translations of the novels into Latin letters will be.
