Abstract (EN)
Selexipag is an oral prostacyclin IP receptor agonist that delays the progression of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and reduces hospitalization in patients in Class II and III according to the World Health Organization (WHO) functional classification. Selexipag is an oral prostacyclin IP receptor agonist that is structurally different from prostacyclin. In this thesis study, a new HPLC method was developed for the analysis of Selexipag from commercial pharmaceutical products. The mobile phase of the developed method is acetonitrile-water (40:60, v/v) mixture and buffered to pH 3. The flow rate and injection volume are 0.5 mL/min and 1.0 µL, respectively. Method validation was carried out according to the ICH Q2(R1) guideline and the results were evaluated statistically.
