Abstract (EN)

These are the spatial elements in influential Selim İleri's stories. The components in the thesis are taken in general and literary sense. The subject of the study is the examination of the element and concept by observing the interdisciplinary approach. The concept of space has been put forward in terms of many functions and tasks. The meaning of the concept of space in different disciplines has found its place in the literary field. It has emerged that the boundaries of the concept of space have been examined from different perspectives. The autobiographical elements of Selim İleri's life in his own processes are included in the thesis. With the broad perspective, the identity of the writer and the artist has been erased. The life of İleri was examined to make sense of the author's art, and in this direction, the author's own works as well as the works that were learned to target İleri in the literary field were scanned. Spatially analyzed books were classified not by story names, but by listing the available locations. Selim İleri was born and raised in Istanbul and was introduced to literature thanks to his own desires and curiosity. He joined the literary field as a good reader, and then he continued his memoirs and art by making writing a profession. The author, who has produced many literary works, has used cinema according to his area of interest, the relationship between literature and visual arts, and has become a scriptwriter and playwright. Istanbul; Life, literature, artistic views and cultural values are frequently emphasized in the products. Among the formations, reflecting its own fragments into fragments by combining them with the rich world in the displayed works has been seen as one of the distinguishing parts of his art, and this is regularly listed in the thesis.
