The conceptions of lahn and teghanni in kirâats semantically

The Arab society, which attaches great importance to speaking fluent and correct recitation, has interacted with different cultures as a result of the conquests. As a result of this interaction, mistakes in language and recitation were inevitable. Although these mistakes in the field of recitation are generally called lahn, this concept has many meanings such as dialect, suggestive speech, intelligence, teganni. Teganni, on the other hand, became the equivalent of music, which is an indispensable fact of cultures and life, in the field of recitation. The continuation of the discussion of taganni in recitation in the historical process has led to an increase in the importance of the concept. The concepts of lahn and teganni, which are the subject of the study, are two important concepts used in the field of recitation at the micro level, although they concern many fields at the macro level. A correct understanding of the concepts of lahn and teganni, which are related to each other in terms of meaning, will contribute to the resolution of some conflicts related to the concepts. The aim of the study is to reveal the meaning values of the concepts and to produce solutions to the conflicts that arise due to the problems of interpretation of these concepts. In the study, the core structure of the concepts was determined by the etymological analysis of the concepts using the semantic analysis method. The meaning differences of the concepts whose etymological analysis were made in the historical process were examined through the couplets and narrations of each period. Various and related meanings of words were shaped within the framework of semantic analysis method and their value was revealed. After all these processes, the most accurate meanings that can be given to the concepts were evaluated. With the aforementioned method, the concept of lahn in the first part, teganni in the second part, and the problematic of teganni in qira'ah were handled. At the same time, the semantic relationship between lahn and teganni, which are related to each other, has also been determined.
