Özet (EN)
"Multidiscipline Based Art Education" is a contemporary education method which is composed of domains as such: "History of Art", "art criticism", "application" and "aesthetic". The application of this method on the schematic age children who are on the level of first stage of prime school (7-9 age), is the subject of the seminar lessons inquiry. The question of "what are the outcomes of the domains of the discipline based art education method when it is applied on the 7-9 age children?" is the problematic of this work. Basic intention in the context of thesis inquiry is to introduce the method as well as to explain its necessity and its outcomes (functions) through touching upon the stages of method. This thesis inquiry makes itself constructed through the art activity which is conducted with the primary school student who are experiencing the 7-9 age (schematic age). The sample of the study is composed by the 3-A class of primary section of the Afyon Mektebim Primary and High School. As a conclusion, this inquiry is an outcome of a set of intention in which the goals of discipline based art education like informing, acculturating children and contributing their language development, making more sensitive before art, artist, nature that they are partaking and critical thinking, becomes more apparent through the art applications on the 7-9 age (schematic age) children. Keywords: Visual arts, discipline based art education, schematic age, art, child.
