Abstract (EN)

Ceramic sector, which includes mining and ore preparation facilities in its own unique production flow, is one of the emerging sectors thanks to new investments in our country in the last 10 years. It is known that serious occupational accidents happen in the ceramic sector as in every sectors. Preventing these occupational accidents can be made possible by accurate detecting the dangers which exist and may occur in the sector. For this reason, choosing right risk evaluation method is extremely important. In the ceramic tile factory with 1067 employees, environmental measurements were made and occupational accident statistics were obtained to increase production efficiency and provide more comfortable working conditions. In order to make more accurate risk assessments based on these, different methods have been used to evaluate the risks that exist within the enterprise. Evaluation of risks was made by using Fine Kinney, L Type Matrix and FMEA methods and it was determined which of these three methods is more usable for the ceramics industry.
