Abstract (EN)

In this study spinel, hematite and corund structures which are general crystal structures of the pigments used in ceramic sector was intended; mixing the oxides and ores which contain some of the transformation elements (Cu, Fe, Co, Mn and Cr) that provide color formation with fly ash, perlite, corund, broken glass and clays one by one. The effects of glaze structure on the surface and color which consist after samples that are prepared using the pigment production with calcination applied on white fired (wile) and terracotta productions in factory conditions was examined. The color formation provided on white fired productions were also studied on terracotta productions and more evident color formations were observed on white fired productions. Thinking the difference consisted amoung the colors on with glazed and unglazed applications of white fired productions, terracotta productions were studied for glazing, using different flaxes for the surface of the terracotta productions and into the green body, because there isn?t any glazed surface of the terracotta productions. As a result in this study, applications with natural materials and oxides which were used for coloring showed different features on different productions. When we think according to the factory conditions if flaxing and color formation are used together they provides positive results.
