Abstract (EN)
The study aims to conduct a structural and contextual analysis of the novels of Turkish writer Şerif Benekçi. Benekçi's literary works are important works that skillfully deal with social events, human psychology and deep emotional states. The thesis focuses on the author's main novels, The Swallows Migrated Early, The Island Without a Beach, Pigeon Passage, A Walk of Dawn and Now is the Time to Cry. In the thesis, structural elements such as the structure of the novels, narrative technique, character depictions, use of space and time are analyzed in detail. The author's literary skill and fictional talent are evaluated through the plot and fiction of the novels. In addition, the themes, social problems and human psychology in the novels are also analyzed in depth. The concept of time plays an important role in Şerif Benekçi's novels. The novels focus on the relationships between past, present and future, the flow of time and the perception of time. The author offers the reader a deep experience by processing time with different layers. The themes in Benekçi's works deal with social problems as well as human psychology in depth. In the novels, universal themes such as love, loss, trauma, justice, and conscience are impressively portrayed. These themes create a deep layer of meaning that leads readers to think and question.
