Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY Morphometry And Sagittal Geometry Of Cervical Vertebra End Plates The purpose of this study is to determine the morphometry and geometry of the final plates from the (C3-C7) vertebrae located in the cervical region. We think that the vertical artefacts in disc arthroplasty and disc replantation can reduce and use the complications that may be important during the alignment of the vertebrae. Our work was carried out in Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology and Anatomy. This study was conducted retrospectively for 100 patients who were withdrawn from BT between 2011-2016 and whose pathology could not be determined. Retrospectively scanned vertebrae son plaques morphometry values of people aged 20-65 years were measured at defined reference points. Statistical analysis of our study The SPSS-18.0 statistical package program continued. Averages and standard deviations of the parameters examined were determined. The results were assessed at a safety margin of 95% and a significance change of p <0.05. According to the concave depth measurements of the sagittal endplate, the maximum mean value was 2.03 ±, 78mm and the minimum mean value was 1.64 ±, 77 mm. According to the measurements of sagittal concave peak localization, the maximum mean value was measured as 0.48 ±, 08mm and the minimum mean value was measured as 0.49 ± 10 mm. According to sagittal final plate diameter measurements, the maximum maximum value was measured as 14.67 ± 2.52 mm and the minimum value average was measured as 13.60 ± 1.77 mm. According to the Koronal endplate concave angle measurements, the maximum value was measured as 139,80 ± 11,77 degrees and the minimum value average was measured as 132,36 ± 9,84 degrees. According to the measurements of transverse plate diameter, the maximum value was measured as 22.01 ± 2.74 mm and the minimum value average was measured as 17.99 ± 2.14 mm. At all levels for sagittal final plate concave depth C3, C4, C5 and C6 levels, C3, C5, C6 and C7 levels for sagittal concave peak localization, Koronal endplate concave angle at all levels, transverse end plate diameter C6 and C7 levels were not statistically significant (p> 0.05). There was a significant difference between genders at C3, C4 and C5 levels at sagittal last plate concave depth C7 level, at C4 level for concave top point localization, at all levels of sagittal last plate diameter, and at transverse sonic plate diameter sex (p <0,05). Significant correlations were found between sagittal endplate concave depth and sagittal concave peak localization data and age, between koronal endplate concave angle and age, between C4 and C7 levels of transverse sonic plaque diameter and age (p> 0,05). The correlation between koronal endplate concave angle and age at C4 level and the relationship between transverse endplate diameter and age at C3, C5 and C6 levels were significantly positive (p <0,05). When we compare the information obtained in our study with the knowledge of the literature, it is observed that many of the bulks are similar but there are differences in some measurements. We think that the main reasons of these differences are the measurement using cadaver by using different imaging techniques. Surgical intervention is inevitable in the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration and intervertebral disc disease. Whichever surgical procedure is performed, the percentage of incidence varies, but it is one of the major complications that 'collapse' occurs. To prevent this and similar complications, we think that it is possible to work on the determination of the final plate morphometry in order to ensure the correct association of the prosthetic end plate.
