Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the methods which allows the determination of stationary sound source position and the location of the moving sound source together with the microphone position and to estimate the sound source and microphone positions in three-dimensional space by using the recorded sound data of the selected methods. Firstly, the methods used in the literature are examined theoretically and related equations were obtained. To determine the position of the stationary sound source, Hyperbolic Intersection (HI), Beamforming algorithms, and for moving sound source and microphone positions, Random Sample Consensus (RANSAC) algorithm are selected. In the literature, it is hard to find the study comparing the HI and Beamforming methods. Altought it is not common in the literature; the comparison is made using the same microphone layout and sound in the study. In addition, in the literature studies, microphone positions for position determination of the sound source are generally given as input to the system. In the study, the positions of the microphones with the sound motion path is also estimated using the RANSAC algorithm. Finally, the results obtained were compared and future studies were discussed.
