Abstract (EN)

This study aims to deliver the method and practices of uṣūl al-fiqh in Al-Shawkani's book, "Nayl al-Awtar", in Purity and Salah chapters, by focusing on the issue of understanding the mutlaq as muqayyad, as well as to provide the scientific and personal points of Al-Shawkani's life. The study also aims to explain the concepts of the discussion of unconditional (mutlaq) and conditional (muqayyad) according to Al-Shawkani, their conditions, their procedures and rules that affect them and compare them with those of other scholars. For this reason, I researched, collected, analyzed, and studied the issues on which we must understand the mutlaq as muqayyad in the chapters covered by this study. This research consists of an introduction, two main chapters, and an afterword. The subject of the first chapter is the introduction of Imam Al-Shawkani. This chapter consists of two subsections. The first subsection defines Imam Al-Shawkani and his book Nayl al-Autar. The second subsection explains the concepts of mutlaq and muqayyad. While the subjects of the first subsection try to define the book of Imam Al-Shawkani and Nayl al-Autar, the second subsection explains the concepts of mutlaq and muqayyad, their situations, and the issue of understanding the mutlaq as muqayyad. The first main section explores Al-Shawkani's perspectives on mutlaq and muqayyad in the chapter of Purity in his book Nayl al-Autar. This chapter includes seven issues. The second main section explores Al-Shawkani's perspectives on the mutlaq and muqayyad of Salah. This chapter contains fourteen issues.
