Persian Divan Of Seyfi-yi Bukhari

This study includes critical edition text of the Persian divan of Seyfî-yi Bukhârî, one of the Timurid period's Iranian poets and the examination of this text. While preparing the study text, a total of six copies were used in the Library of Iranian Parliament, in the Ali Emiri Collection Persian Manuscripts section of the Millet Manuscript Library in Istanbul, in the Laleli and Nuruosmaniye collections of the Suleymaniye Manuscripts Library, in the Persian Manuscripts catalog of the Istanbul University Rare Works Library, and in the Microfilm section of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Our study consists of an introduction and four chapters. The first part mentions the political, social, and literary situation of the period in which Seyfî-yi Bukhârî lived. The second part contains information about the author's life, literary personality and works. In the third part, the euphonies used in Seyfî-yi Buhârî's Divan and the content of his divan were specified, the copies were introduced, sample couplets from the literary arts in the divan were brought and information about the language and spelling features and the way followed in the creation of the text were presented. In the fourth part, the critical edition text of the work is given.
