Abstract (EN)

With the annexation of Uzbekistan in 1923, the region was completely closed to the Islamic world. Places of worship were closed, foundation properties were seized, scholars and clerics were executed or exiled to disconnect the people of the region from Islam. However, despite all of these, people who protect their religion and hug them tightly grew up in this region. One of them was Sheikh Muhammad Sadık Muhammad Yusuf. Sheikh Muhammad Sadık, who spent his childhood and youth under the shadow of the Soviets, completed his education in important Islamic schools in Uzbekistan and Libya. Muhammed Sadık, who devoted his life to Islam, served in many scientific and administrative positions in Uzbekistan between 1980-1993. After returning to his country after nearly ten years of exile life, Muhammed Sadık tried to serve Islam with his activities until his death and pioneered the re-establishment of the Uzbek people's connection with Islam. Muhammed Sadık is an important person who started and continues many Islamic activities in Uzbekistan with his education, influence and challenging personality. He carried out the printing, publishing and distribution activities of many religious works through the publishing house he established.He regarded history as asource of knowledge a relic of the past and he devoted his life to enlighten all its reality. He has published many works in this directions. He tried to explain Islam to the Uzbek people through sermons and conversations, as well as many works he wrote and published. Sheikh Muhammed Sadık played an important role in the correct understanding and spread of Islam in the geography of Uzbekistan.
